Welcome friends! You have stumbled upon Ancient Clans™. This site was made form Warrior lovers of all ages, except for the young ones that are not quite literate or old enough to even join a poboards site. Anyways, Ancient Clans takes place in the old times. Read the Plot for more info. Here on Ancient clans you can RP with friends or hang out in the OOC boards and chat in the c-box or just help others get use to the site. A breif history: Well this site was started by i, Tumbleleaf, but went very inactive. Then a great friend of mine kept the site alive when i was going through some rough times. Well now the site is reopening and we owe it ALL to Robin! So Please lets give a big round of [apaws] to Robin for caring for this site during the rough times. Well let's start shall we??

Ancient Clans is placed before Firestar, Tigerstar, Bluestar, Graystripe, Spottedleaf, and all them. It's practically the first cats who set first in the forest home. (AKA Thunderstar, Windstar, Shadowstar, and Riverstar). Well the ancient clans have somehow dissapeared from history. Except 5 cats! ______, descendent of ThunderClan, ______, descendent of WindClan, Wolf, descendent of RiverClan, Midnight descendent of ShadowClan, and ______, descendent of SkyClan.
ShadowClan's descendent ,Midnight, has tossed his good deeds aside. He has all the power and revenge for what ThunderClan did. As the Cans were starting ThunderClan decided they were the ruler clan. Good ol' ShadowClan knew that StarClan didn't beleive in a ruler clan. If there was a ruler clan it was StarClan. Well ThunderClan took no pity for ShadowClan. Their leader, Lightningstar, thought ThunderClan was to good to not use their ruling powers for well ruling. Lightningstar broke the truce on the night of peace. StarClan was furious, they sent the clans into exiled which ultimatly killed them off. Only 5 cats stood unharmed. One cat from each clan. The clans have been gone for a solid 43 moons, now ony the descendents remain of the last five cats. ShadowClans warrior is determined to get the clans bak together before destruction kills the cats and the clans are never heard of again.

6.28.08WE ARE MOVING!! THIS SITE HAS BEEN THROUGH TOO MUCH TO FULLY QUIT SO IT MIGHT BE A WEEK OR SO BEFORE THE NEW SITE IS POSTED! SO GO AHEAD AND RP AROUND! UNTIL THE NEW SITE IS MADE!
6.9.08 Two more staff positions are open! We need graphic designers. These people will make the skins and little graphics! You need to have experiance with graphics to be able to sign up for this position. These two positions along with one co-admin, two global mods, and three mod positions are OPEN! I will be holding Auditions once we have 15 members!
6.5.08 Ok well Ancient Clans is Re-opening. Many changes have been made to the site. I'm sorry for all the past members except Robin but your positions have been re=opened. You may re-apply for the positions again. It's just re-opening the site we need to give every member an equal chance to get a positon they desire. --**Robin you still have your positions only because you deserve them.

Weather and Season
SEASON: Begining Green-Leaf WEATHER: The sun is brightly burning! Your only hope of shade is if you live in a forest. Lucky for RiverClan, ThunderClan, and ShadowClan they have trees to shade them from the scorching sun. SkyClan and WindClan on the other hand better be finding some shelter. Well at least the dens are cool. The sun looks promising and might even bring in some Sun-high storms. The river is flowing rapidly. Herbs are starting to dry out causing some troubles for the medicine cats. Enjoy the weather while it lasts. Soon it will be even hotter and dryer.
ANNOUNCMENTS In this board all the activity checks will be held. Updates will continue to be posted. Possibly some other things to like contests, and just important things. Also the threads in here are most likely posted as an announcement so they will show up in all the boards.

T H U N D E R C L A N---OPEN
THUNDERCLAN CAMP (1 sub-board) In a deep ravine an opening in the side of the ravine wall leads to a camp where large brave cats live. Seven nooks placed on the inside make these cats live in paradise. A huge clearing with a large rock that jets out of the middle. Where the leader holds warrior ceremonies and announcements it's called High Rock. The outside looks like it's so small on the inside, but when you actually get to the inside it's huge. The leader's den is made in the middle out of High Rock. Lichen hangs down to give the leader privacy. On the other side of the rock a little dug out is where the freshkill pile is. The deputies den is made right across from the leaders den. The deputies den is quite small but it's a den that he doesn't have to share. The warriors den is the largest, it's made in the back of the hole. The cats expanded the hole till it reaches backside of the ravine creating an escape route. It's quite large. The apprentices den is an ok size when the apprentices start growing it gets a little crowded. Their den is right next to the warriors, that way they are not that far from their old den. Little kits, their mothers, the medicine cats, and the elders have the safest dens. There actually holes with tunnels. The tunnel to these dens are on the right side of the clearing. There is a large tunnel that splits into three tunnels. The left tunnel leads to the nursery which is a medium size. Then alot of little crags where the mothers give birth and sleep with their young. The middle tunnel leads to the medicine cats patient room, then goes farther into the medicine cats and apprentices herb supply then two little crags for them to sleep in. Then the one to the right leads to the elders den. So ThunderClan basically has the safest and most comfrontable camp.

WiNDCLAN CAMP (1 sub-board) WindClan's camp is made out of the one of the hills large drop offs. Like a cliff. WindClan made there camp inside of an old fox set. The fox set was origanally very small. The cats of WindClan created it to where the whole clan can live in one place and not be crowded though. The den is just one long tunnel except for the clearing in the begining. The leader's den is actually right next to the old fox set, it's in an old rabbit burrow right next to the main den. It's still connected though. A rock on the left side of the main den has a crag in it which connects the leaders rabbit burrow to the main den. The deputies den is made right next to the rock. It's quite small but it still suits the deputy. The warriors den isn't even in the main den. It's outside! The warriors sleep under the eyes of StarClan. Even though there is a den in the main den for rainy days. They normally sleep in the tall grasses. Same with the apprentices, they to have a den in the main den, but also prefer to sleep under the eyes of StarClan. The apprentices sleep in little groups to keep eachother company and warm on those windy nights. The Queens and kits have a den in the main den though. They can't risk their kits health and safety. The nursery is right across the tunnel from the Medicine cats den. There is a patient room then opens into a herb store, then seperates into two little crags where the medicine cat and apprentice sleep. The elders den is just right down the tunnel. It's quite open because there is no hole to get inside. It's the dead end to the tunnel. Moderator: chichi ♥'s Pippin

R i V E R C L A N---OPEN
RiVERCLAN CAMP (1 sub-board) RiverClan's camp is literally an island. A gigantic tree takes up the most of the middle of the island. It's roots are also large. In the actual tree is three tunnels. The right tunnel leads to a medium sized den underground. This is where the leader sleeps. The tunnel to the left takes you farther underground to a quite small den. This is where the deputy sleeps. Then the middle tunnel leads you a deep deep underground lair where the clan holds their clan meeting. In the center a wilted branch hangs very low. This is where the leader stands for their clanmates to have all eyes and ears. Within the clearing underground another tunnel seperates into three mre tunnels. Te right tunnel leads to the Elders den. The middle tunnel leads to the Queens den, which has many little dugouts for the queens nests. Then the left tunnel leads right into the patient room. This is where the the wounded or sick sleep. Then a little hole in the dirt wall leads to an herb storage, then another little hole leads into a fairly small den which this is where the medicine cat apprentice and medicine cat sleep. Outside of the three tunnels there is many dugouts of the roots. To the right of the tunnels a little dugout gets deeper into a large den in dirt. The den is bigger than any den besides the clearing. Anyway this is where the warriors rest. Then on the left of the tunnels another little dugout deepens into another hole in the dirt and a fairly medium den appears. This is where the apprentices sleep. RiverClan does have a very safe haven for their old, young, and valuable.

S H A D O W C L A N---Midnightstar
SHADOWCLAN CAMP (1 sub-board) ShadowClan's camp is in a dense, murky little pine forest. It's quite small due to all the marsh around the little pine forest preventing the little pines to grow anywhere else but it's still shelter for ShadowClan. So ShadowClan has underground dens too. The leaders den is in the middle. The hole is covered by a bush. The Deputies den is a little more complicated to find. It's connected to a tree stump. In the Tree Stump is another hole and that's the deputies den. Then in another bush is a little entrance. The slope in the entrance is really far from the den. This is the main den though. The leaders den and the Deputies den is connected to the main den by another sloping tunnel. The Middle of the clearing is a root this is where the leader holds the clan meetings. Then to one side of the den is a large den, this is the warriors lair. Clear on the other side is a little but big enough den for the inhabitors of this den. It's for the apprentices. In the back of the dirt den in a tunnel and on each side is a large den. The one to the left is the elders den and the one on the right is the Nursery. Then when you come down the slope to get into the main den a root covered hole stands right next to it. The roots of all sizes hang in front of the little hole in the dirt wall to keep it protected. If you enter that hole a curvy tunnel leads away from the slope and into a little clearing. This is where the pateints sleep. Then it enters into a little herb storage den, and in the corner two little nests are made. This is for the medicine cats and apprentices. So ShadowClan does have it happening. Moderator: hazely.♥

S K Y C L A N---OPEN
SKYCLAN CAMP (1 sub-board) SkyClan camp is placed in an intresting place. Their camp is the hardest to attack even harder than RiverClans. SkyClan's camp is in a large oak tree. There is a big center that is not covered, besides the leaves. In the center is a large branch that shoots up. This is where the clan has it's meeting. Still five large branches jet out of the tree. Owls use to burrow there until SkyClan ran them out. One branch is large but the leader and deputy both share it. The medicine cat has a branch of their own. It goes deeper but gets small. One area is for the patients the second area is for the herbs and the thrid area is for the medicine cat and apprentice. The queens and elders share a den to. The elders do get tired of the kits but the kits aren't allowed out of the den till apprenticed only because a large risk for the kits is being pushed or accidently dropping out of the tree. The warriors have a den to their own. It's down further from the main camp in the tree and is a hollow towards the base of the tree. Only so they are closer to the ground when they need to jump out and defend the camp. The apprentices are up just a little ways from the warrior den but they are on the other side. Their den is quite big too. This camp is also a little more dangerous than others only because if they were ever to have a fire in the tree the main camp cats won't be able to escape without jumping a long ways and actually living.
